Wassily Kadninsky is a Russian painter, print maker and art theorist who lived in the 18 and 19 hundreds. One of his paintings is the Seeschlacht.

This one is done by the sense of 'hearing'. This is most likely because the lines and shapes that he has used are not representing anything inparticular. He has used some water colours and different lines and all sorts of different tones in this peice of art work.The background tone is used with the toning of the paint. This peice of art work is actually a poster and so could be re printing into many thousands of other coppies.The type of music that he could have used is music that has different sounds. Different instruments for the different lines. The parts of the art work that stand out the most is the dark blue bold lines. they look like they are echoing.
